LitMag Feature: Black Fox Literary Magazine

I was honored to have two of my poems published in the 10th-anniversary edition of Black Fox Literary Magazine. This magazine is special.

Black Fox Literary Magazine was founded by Racquel Henry, Pamela Harris, and Marquita Hockaday. The three writers met during an MFA program at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. Black Fox publishes both established and new writers. They welcome all fiction, but they especially like fiction from under-represented genres and styles.

According to their submissions guidelines, “Black Fox Literary Magazine is a print and online biannual publication featuring quality fiction of all styles and genres, poetry, and nonfiction. Our Summer issue is published the last week in July, and the Winter issue is published the last week in January. We accept general submissions in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry for each issue during the following periods:

Summer (2022) Issue Submission Period: March 2, 2022–May 31, 2022.
Winter (2023) Issue Submission Period: September 1, 2022–November 30, 2022.

Submissions received after the last day of the submission period will not be considered for that issue. Please send only one submission per submission period. They accept submissions for cover art, fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. Read their full submission guidelines here.
